BOTANIC MECHANIC

I'm no expert, however, if you would love to treat someone to flowers I have a couple tips. First, when in doubt-

Resist the overpriced often not so cute random "Spring Bouquet" sitting at the entrance of the local florist. You'll get a fuller bouquet for the same amount if you collect two or three different types in the same color family.

STICK TO ONE COLOR.

Next, don't overlook roses that aren't "perfect".

There's something to be said for roses that have a little (just a little) imperfection around the edges of the petals. They usually are discounted, like this gorgeous bunch of sunshine. I paid $10 for a dozen sweet smelling roses that look like I picked them myself from my mother's garden. Lastly, never underestimate the power of greenery.

It's the stuff that is priced lowest and used most frequently to fill space in a bouquet. Consider an entire bunch of just greenery. Uber chic and tres "guilt free". TRUST.
