KAREN'S TOYS

If you're rushing around trying to find last minute toys that will be a hit under the Christmas Tree. Please do yourself a favor and head to your nearest Karen's Toys. The selection is wonderful, and there is a definite emphasis on encouraging creativity and imagination as a theme. Just when I thought they couldn't impress me anymore, they offered complimentary GIFT WRAP with a smile!
Here's the deal, they wrap really well and it didn't take long as they have designated staff to gift wrapping alone.

THINK FUN

I haven't featured a "guilt-free" item for kids in a long while. My son just celebrated his 6th birthday and came out a winner with a wealth of amazing gifts both tangible and intangible.

Rated at the top for the rare combination of fun AND thinking is his new game "Rush Hour Traffic Jam" from THINKFUN.

Your child can play solo or with friends setting up the game board according to pictures of traffic jams displayed on different challenge cards, then slide blocking cars and trucks out of the way to create a path of escape through the congestion.

Check out the website to try out an online version first!

WHAT ARE LITTLE TOYS MADE OF?

Melissa and Doug make the BEST wooden toys.

My son has one similar to the one featured here (for kids over 4yrs). He spent many afternoons putting it together and taking it apart.

Oh, and it doesn't hurt that wooden toys are a charming addition to any well put together stylish home. Line a few up on the shelf for all to enjoy.

On sale at Winners for $19.99. Regular retail $29.99.
