PRETTY IN PINK

I love WASTELAND.


With 2 weeks and 0 budget, I had to find
something fabulous for
  AJS annual party in Munich.
 I headed to Wasteland on Ventura Blvd
and found this Theory "Taliana" dress
for the sweet price of $40
as opposed to the extra '0' on the end
 of the original tag price of $400.

I started the evening in some black strappy stilettos

 and somehow ended the evening

 in my sister's neutral platform peep-toes. 

"GUILT FREE STYLE" IN FULL EFFECT.

Either one seemed to work, good times...

Sometimes, we all need a little nudge in the right direction. 

At a time in my life when I'm learning it's not all "sunshine and roses" out there, I literally started waking up to sunshine and roses- DAILY. 

 Confused? 

Me too. 

I guess the point is, life is unpredictable and can have a cruel sense of humour. As I get older and responsibilities pile up, it gets easier to lose hold of that wide-eyed wonder I had for the world. If you feel the same way, pick up a Gratitude Journal at your local book store and it will give you the little nudge you need to start appreciating everything good in your  life again.

It is peppered with inspirational quotes and simple assignments to guide you through when you need it.

The "guilt free style" option? Pick up a pen and paper and write "I am grateful for this pen and paper"...
