Us Girls have all the fun when it comes to designer denim.  It's hard for a guy to express his style sense amongst a sea of tacky over-embellished jeans.

I LOVE these "Slammer" jeans from Diesel.  The perfect blue wash with the right amout of detail that says
"I care...but without trying"

Regular retail $260 on sale now at WINNERS for $99.99

viv & ingrid

I love a great classic earring, and I love my brother-in-law (Viv), and my sister (Ingrid) even more.

I was astonished when flipping through one of my favorite shopping mags LUCKY to see an adorable pair of sterling silver studs for $41.00.

A crazy coincidence that the designers share the same names as my adored sister and brother? I think not.  I felt an obligation to check out

I was impressed with the wide array of gifts and jewellery.  A great find for those of us with allergies to some costume jewellry.
Check out their signature hoop earring for $79.

Forgive my tardiness as I just discovered "KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON"

The poster was initially produced by the Ministry of Information in 1939 during the beginning of World War II, and was intended as a "last case scenario" to be used only should the Nazis succeed in invading Great Britain, in order to stiffen resolve. Two-and-a-half million copies were printed, although the poster was distributed only in limited numbers.

The designer of the poster is not known.

70 YEARS LATER, who knew these 5 simple words would have such an impact on the design world?

Strolling through the mall with my boys I spotted Belinda, a floor below us, and dashed down the nearest escalator to introduce myself. Not only did this student have an incredible sense of style, she was incredibly sweet and undeniably saavy. After enthusiastically hugging me, she shared her

This leggy blonde beauty who shall remain nameless is a woman after my own heart.  When I saw her struggling with her very full, hot pink, shopping bags, I knew the right thing to do was offer to help her to her front door.  However, I was too busy thinking "She is really pulling off those black socks with those platform pumps..."  So I did the next thing that came to mind and asked if she minded if I took her picture.  She was clearly ready to keep walking, but thought better of it and obliged. From head to toe she gave me the details of her outfit like It was, perhaps, the 5th time she had done it today...LOVE IT.

Alexander Wang is no doubt a BRILLIANT designer

As you can see, his lovely bandeau dress for $795 is clearly a knockout(EVEN THOUGH THE MODEL LOOKS HUNGRY AND ANGRY).
I am here to tell you that for about $30 you can achieve the same look with this color block dress from where else? Forever 21.

Ladies, I can speak first hand. I am a lady well over the age of 20 and tried this on 'sans' spanx, and this dress was slammin!  All of my jiggly bits were well camoflauged.

  1. Never show up emotionally unstable. It's as sensible as drinking Tequila before a driving exam.
  2. Always cancel and re-book if your stylist appears emotionally unstable. There is no appropriate time in life to be in the company of a depressed and or angry person with scissors and peroxide.
  3. Know what you want and tell your stylist. Mind reading is no longer required to obtain a hairstyling license.
  4. If you don't know what you want, be prepared to accept what the stylist does. I'm talking to you Kerri Russell
  5. If you're starting to feel uncomfortable...say something.
